Hyper-V has been around since 2008, replacing Microsoft Virtual PC as the native go-to option for virtualization in Windows 8 onwards. Along with allowing you to virtualize operating systems, Hyper-V goes quite a bit further, letting you virtualize hardware like hard drives, switches, external media drives and so on. It comes with Windows Server 2008, Windows 8 and above. Hence, no need to download separately. This virtual machine software is now inbuilt with Windows 10 or later versions. You can run an older version of Windows or Linux with this tool. You can create a virtual servicer with this tool.
